Metal crown / Gold Crown / Full crown

The metals used for metal crowns are used, are usually gold alloys or metal alloys (such as nickel, palladium, chrome). Compared with other types of dental crown must for the metal crown less tooth structure removed, and the wear of the opposite teeth is reduced to a minimum. The tooth crown made of metal holds great forces at the bite and chew and, therefore, uses only very slowly. It also breaks from only extremely rarely. The only problem is unfortunately very striking color of the metal, which for many a cosmetic problem, therefore, are dental crowns made of metal actually only for the standing farther back molars (not visible molar area) is a good choice.
