Menopause hot flash

Hot flash is the dilation of blood vessels on the upper part of the body, that makes a woman feel hot particularly on the neck and the face. The face flushes and it becomes red and there is a feeling of chilliness when hot flash is over. Hot flash can be mild or severe. A mild hot flash may last for a few seconds. A severe hot flash can last as long as an hour. It starts just prior to menopause in most women. Most of the women have already get rid of it when they complete the process, but for some it continues well into old age.
