Are You Aware Of What Can Cause Gum Disease?
It may not really be visible to our naked eye but bad bacteria fills our mouth along with mucus and other particles. Anaerobic bacteria is in constant motion in forming a sticky, colorless plaque on teeth, specially of one has poor oral hygiene habits leaving the mouth dirty and dry - an ideal place for bacteria to breed and proliferate faster and cause gum disease to set in. In getting rid of plaque build up, daily brushing an flossing done properly are of great help. If plaque is not removed, it can harden into bacteria-harboring tartar, that brushing alone cannot remove or clean. Tartar removal can only be removed by a professional cleaning and can done by a dental hygienist.
